1.) In assisted living and therapy, basically you have a few doctors and nurses to cover a facility....followed by CNA's generally to take care of other additional patient care needed. Plus most have an activities coordinator for occasional "group" activities. In addition, long hospital stays can be a particularly lonely time as well.
2.) At home....you can get overwhelmed feeling there's not enough time in the day even for the little things, feel like you're not giving enough time to a loved one, or just need even a second to breathe through the stress of tough times. On both ends, for the most part, all doing the best they can to provide the help they can. Truthfully though, so much more support is needed and valued when given access to it or provided. Let us help bridge the gap in additional emotional and companionship support needed for our love ones. • Regular Check-ins: Ensuring the health and comfort of residents and individuals with routine visits as requested to address support of various needs and/or concerns.
• Companionship & Emotional Support: Offering a friendly, engaging presence to alleviate loneliness and encourage emotional well-being.
• Virtual Connections: Facilitating virtual family visits or companion connections when in-person interactions aren't possible or necessarily desired.
• Activity Partner: Engaging residents and individuals in meaningful activities that bring joy and purpose.
• Encouraging Perseverance: Providing emotional motivation to help residents stay confident and positive.
• Personalized Care: Offering individualized, one-on-one attention to complement medical and caregiving support.
• Respite Care Buddy: Primary caregivers must take much needed breaks. This aspect allows for peace of mind knowing and ensuring the resident/individual receives emotional support, care, and attention in your absence.
• Therapy Support: Being a stable source to help encourage participation in therapy to boost morale and progress.
• Familiar Faces: Providing a consistent and friendly presence to reduce feelings of isolation and build trust.
• When You Can’t Be There, We Will: Ensuring residents feel cared for and supported even when family or primary caregivers are unavailable
